Trails in Oklahoma

The footprints in front of you don't look human, but they don't exactly look like an animal created them either. You're not at all certain what creature has feet that are two feet long with seven sharp points around the edges. Seeing these prints up close, you are certain that you don't want to stick around to see what made them, however. Continuing on your way down this self-described Haunted Trail, a heart-stopping roar suddenly chills you to your core. You spin in all directions to no avail. It isn't until you hear panting and rapid, thundering steps that you go running off further into the darkness.
